I am really getting into watercolor; I still have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m pretty pleased with the results, and it’s a lot looser than my usual acrylic works.  I really am enjoying the sort of accidental, surprise aspect of this medium.

This is for the December challenge at Virtual Paintout, this month the location to paint from was County Clare, Ireland.  I chose a shade-dappled tree-lined drive with sort of purple and green tones (my favorite color combo).  I have told my husband that if we’re ever multi-millionaires, I want a tree-lined drive up to the manor house.  I love a tree-lined drive.

Here’s the Google Streetview this is taken from.
